Nathan Cox
Nathan Cox has been a financial services professional for over 30 years. Today, he uses his extensive knowledge and experience to help hardworking Americans achieve their financial goals more confidently through income-based financial strategies. As an Investment Advisor Representative and co-founder of Retirement Income Solutions, Nathan is focused on teaching clients how best to invest and manage their money starting in “the red zone of retirement,” which begins about 10 years before you plan to retire. “In football, the red zone is when you’ve gotten to the 20-yard line, but you’ve still got another 20 yards to go to get that touchdown,” Nathan explains, noting that just as a football team typically shifts to a more defensive and conservative strategy in the red zone, safety-minded investors should do likewise. As Nathan further explains, this means shifting to an income-first, growth-second strategy designed to reduce your risk, grow your assets more safely, and generate reliable interest and dividend income throughout retirement, regardless of market conditions. Nathan knows from experience that many people fail to make this shift simply because they don’t know it’s possible. He says that’s why his No. 1 priority is investor education. That commitment to education is shared by Nathan’s Retirement Income Solutions co-founder, Lindsey Cotter, and it’s what prompted them to team up to write their acclaimed book, Victory Lap: Winning the Race to and Through Retirement, released in 2024. Together, they also host a weekly Retirement Income Source Radio Show, covering a broad range of timely financial topics. In addition to retirement planning, Nathan is experienced in helping clients with a comprehensive range of financial services. Outside the office, he is an avid rancher and equestrian who enjoys spending time with his children and giving back to his community.
Our mission is to help clients achieve their financial goals through great customer service, using varied and time-proven more conservative Investments while trying to minimize risks to their retirement assets.
